FAQ
Yes. Ta Lung provides OEM / ODM carbon fiber and composite manufacturing services for custom projects. We support customers across UAV, automotive, bicycle, industrial, and other specialized applications, helping them develop carbon fiber components based on specific product, performance, and production requirements.
Yes. We support projects from design review and prototyping to tooling development and mass production. Our team can help evaluate product structure, material selection, manufacturing process, mold requirements, and production feasibility to support a smoother transition from concept to production.
Our manufacturing capabilities include composite forming processes such as vacuum molding, blow molding, hand lay-up, and hot press forming, along with tooling development, CNC machining, trimming, and 3D scanning. We select the most suitable manufacturing process based on product geometry, material properties, surface finish requirements, mechanical performance, and production volume.
Yes. Customers can provide 3D CAD files, 2D drawings, physical samples, or reference products. We can review the design information, discuss manufacturing feasibility, and recommend suitable materials, tooling methods, and production processes based on the project requirements.
MOQ depends on the product type, material, tooling requirement, production process, and project complexity. Prototype quantities and mass production quantities are usually evaluated separately. For custom OEM projects, we recommend sharing drawings, specifications, and estimated demand so we can provide a practical production plan.
Lead time depends on product complexity, mold design, material selection, and production requirements. Tooling development and first-article samples are evaluated case by case. Once we review the drawings, 3D files, or sample details, we can provide a more accurate schedule for tooling, sampling, and production.
You can contact us with your product idea, drawings, 3D files, sample photos, target application, material requirements, and estimated quantity. Our team will review the information and discuss the next steps, including feasibility review, prototyping, tooling, quotation, or production planning.
To provide an accurate quote, we recommend sharing 2D drawings, 3D CAD files, product dimensions, material requirements, surface finish expectations, target application, estimated quantity, and any special performance or testing requirements. If drawings are not available, sample photos or physical samples can also help us evaluate the project.
We respect customer intellectual property and proprietary designs. Project information, drawings, samples, and technical data are handled confidentially. If required, we can work under a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before discussing detailed project information or reviewing sensitive design files.
Quality control is part of our manufacturing process. We focus on dimensional accuracy, surface quality, material consistency, fitment, and production repeatability. Depending on the project, inspection may include visual checks, dimensional inspection, process control, and sample review before moving into larger-scale production.
Testing and inspection are integral parts of our manufacturing process to ensure product quality and dimensional accuracy. For UAV propellers, we provide efficiency testing, dynamic balancing, and dynamic performance testing. Test reports are available upon request. We also offer 3D scanning for dimensional inspection, product comparison, and reverse engineering. Additional testing requirements can be discussed based on your project.
